Most room-design apps hand you a beautiful picture of somebody else's room: walls move, a door appears where there is none, the floor plan quietly changes — and you cannot buy any of it. Room Redo: Design Card keeps your room. The window, the door, the ceiling height and the proportions stay where they are; eight styles change what is in the room, not the room itself.

It asks one question nobody else asks: are you renting? In renter mode the redesign only uses what you can take with you — rug, curtains, lighting, furniture, plants and art — and leaves wall colour, flooring and fixtures exactly as they are. Pick "My own place" and walls, flooring and built-ins change too.

Every redesign comes with a card you can take shopping: the rug size in centimetres calculated for your room and your sofa or bed, how many light sources and lumens the room needs, which lighting layers are missing, the palette as colour chips, and what you take with you versus what stays. You type the room size rather than having it guessed from a photo — a single photo cannot be measured, and the rug advice stands on that number.
