Project Description
RodTree for Android is the mobile half of rodtree.my. Start with yourself, add parents, children, siblings and spouses in a few taps and the tree lays itself out. Every person gets a profile with a photo, birth and death dates, places, notes and the story worth remembering.
The tree lives on the device first: you can keep building it without a connection, and it syncs to your account when you are back online. The same account opens the same tree in the browser, so the app and the web version are one product rather than two.
Relatives can be invited to view or edit, or given a read-only link for a family reunion, and the tree exports as a PDF report or a high-resolution image to print and frame. Family data is private by default — the owner decides who opens a tree and whether a shared link exists at all.
