Project Description
Everyone shows their stylist a photo of someone else — and the stylist then has to guess past another person's hair density, length and blow-dry. Hair Try On: Salon Card fixes the other half of that problem: pick a photo of yourself, pick one of 24 cuts — bobs, lobs, pixies, shags, wolf cuts, fades, crops, curls, bangs and face-framing layers — and see it on your own face.
Every preview comes with a card written for the person holding the scissors: the proper name of the cut, length in centimetres, layered or one length, what happens at the fringe, how often it needs a trim before the shape drops and how many minutes it takes on an ordinary morning. Send it to the stylist before the appointment or show it in the chair.
The app is deliberately honest about its limits. It does not guess your face shape from a selfie — camera angle changes proportions more than face shapes differ — so you answer three questions in front of a mirror instead, and the card says plainly that a preview is not a promise. There is no account: saved looks live on the device, and deleting one deletes the file.
