Project Description
The BrandCheck mobile app puts AI authenticity checks in your pocket — the native companion to the BrandChecker web service, built from the same TypeScript monorepo. Photograph a luxury or premium item and its label, stitching, hardware, and serial; Claude Vision returns a confidence-scored verdict in about a minute, with a shareable report. The app is live on Google Play and the App Store.
Built with Expo SDK 55 and Expo Router, the app uses expo-camera for a guided capture flow that enforces the three required shots — item, label, hardware — plus optional extras before a check is submitted, and expo-secure-store for token storage. It talks to the shared Next.js API and reuses the same brand rules and 19-language i18n strings as the web client, so a check behaves identically on either surface. Pricing is pay-per-check from $0.20, with three free checks on install.
